Aldershot Community Honour Roll Announces Dissolution and Distribution of Remaining Funds
Aldershot, November 18, 2025 —
The Steering Community of the Aldershot Community Honour Roll today announced its decision to formally dissolve the organization. After careful consideration, the committee concluded that due to lack of volunteer committee members and nominations, it has become impractical for the Honour Roll to continue.
The Steering Committee said in a statement. “We are proud of the work we have done for many years and grateful for all who supported us over the years.”
In keeping with the committee’s commitment to community service, all remaining funds in the organization’s account will be donated. The funds will be distributed among the following local organizations:
Aldershot Lions Club
East Plains United Church
Partnering Aldershot
St. Matthew on-the-Plains Anglican Church
These contributions reflect the committee’s long-standing dedication to strengthening community connections and supporting groups that serve Aldershot residents.
The Steering Committee extends its sincere appreciation to all volunteers, nominees, supporters, and community partners who contributed to the Honour Roll’s work and legacy.
